East of the Sun and West of the Moon

Avant Bard at Lubber Run Amphitheater
Fri, Sept 17 and Sat, Sept 18 at 7:30pm, Sun, Sept 19 at 2pm

Arlington’s Avant Bard Theatre brings us the Beauty and the Beast origin story: the epic Norwegian fairy tale, East of the Sun and West of the Moon. Ten actors will take you on an enchanted journey for all ages that includes a Cursed Prince, a Woodcutter’s Daughter, Trolls, an Enchanted Castle filled with Talking Objects and the Four Winds that guide the way to a happy ending!

The Lubber Run Spotlight Series is produced by Arlington Cultural Affairs, a division of Arlington Economic Development, that delivers public activities and programs as Arlington Arts, in collaboration with the Arlington County Department of Parks and Recreation, and with the cooperation of the Lubber Run Amphitheater Foundation.
